Cancellation & Refund Policy

Havelock Beach Resort designs Tour Packages, handles Hotel Reservations, Transfers & Excursions, Activities, Meetings, Events, Conferences, and much more for its clients in association with service partners on respective components. While using services from these partners, Havelock Beach Resort agrees to their terms and policies when confirming bookings. However, we always prioritize minimizing losses for our customers in case of tour/service cancellations:

Cancellation Policy for Private Tours:

  • Cancellation before 01 Month: Full Refund (Service & Processing Fees of Rs.1000.00 per person will be applicable).
  • Cancellation before 15 Days of Arrival: 25% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation before 07 Days of Arrival: 50% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation within 07 Days or No Show: No refund.

Cancellation Policy for Group Tours:

  • Cancellation before 01 Month: 15% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation before 15 Days of Arrival: 50% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation before 07 Days of Arrival: 75% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation within 07 Days or No Show: No refund.

Cancellation Policy for Hotel & Resort Bookings:

Note: Some hotels maintain unconditional cancellation policies. Please confirm these terms before booking.

  • Cancellation before 01 Month: Full Refund (Service & Processing Fees of Rs.500.00 will be applicable).
  • Cancellation before 15 Days of Arrival: 25% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation before 07 Days of Arrival: 50% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation within 07 Days or No Show: No refund.

Cancellation Policy for Sightseeing & Excursion

  • Cancellation before 15 Days: Full Refund (Service & Processing Fees of Rs.250.00 per person will be applicable).
  • Cancellation before 07 Days of Arrival: 15% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation before 02 Days of Arrival: 25% of the package cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation within 48 Hours or No Show: No refund.

General Terms for Cancellations and Refunds:

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing or via email from the registered email ID used for booking, addressed to the concerned staff or emailed to reservation@havelockbeachresort.com.
  • Refunds will be processed within 10 working days via the same payment method used for booking. No interest will be applicable on refunded amounts.
  • Havelock Beach Resort is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred due to the cancellation of bookings or services not included in the package.
  • If a guest discontinues or terminates a tour/sightseeing/excursion/package for personal reasons, it will be considered a deemed cancellation, and no refund will be applicable.
  • Havelock Beach Resort reserves the right to terminate bookings/tours if a guest does not adhere to group decorum or behaves inappropriately. No refund or compensation will be offered in such cases.
  • If full payment is not received, Havelock Beach Resort reserves the right to cancel the booking/tour per the Terms and Cancellation Policy. Refunds will be settled as per the stated cancellation terms.
  • Havelock Beach Resort is not liable for airline cancellations, reschedules, or delays if flights are not part of the package. We will assist in modifying or rescheduling bookings per the terms of the respective service provider.
  • Havelock Beach Resort is not responsible for cancellations or additional expenses caused by delays, changes, or cancellations of travel to the destination (if not included in the package), or due to weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or any other unforeseen reason.
  • Havelock Beach Resort is not responsible for missed or shortened programs due to force majeure or unavoidable circumstances like political events, natural calamities, monument renovations, VIP movements, security issues, heavy rush at sightseeing locations, road traffic, etc. However, we will make efforts to modify or reschedule based on the service provider’s terms.
